Well, I am another year older. Not old enough to be mad, not young enough to be excited.

My birthday was celebrated beautifully. On Friday I enjoyed an amazing dinner with my family at the Auld Dubliner, where I indulged in some beer battered Fish n’ Chips, Also where my sister happened to win their cash prize just for ordering an appetizer. It was a lucky night for the Hofer gals. 

Saturday was spent enjoying the sun while watching my sister Graduate with her Masters of Science from CSUF, followed with a small shindig at my place later that night.

Lastly, enjoying at walk around Balboa Island on Sunday to observe the art from the locals, and to grab a refreshing beverage at a beach front restaurant.

A weekend of Family, Friends and (not so guilt free) food, I couldn’t have asked to celebrate another year of life any better way.

Why, hello there Wednesday. I wasn't expecting you to come so soon.

This week is FLYING by, which is something I couldn't complain about even if I tried.  Friday is almost here, this is convenient because that also happens to be my birthday.

In preparation for yet another busy weekend full of birthdays (mine) and graduations (my sisters)

I am taking it easy.

Wearing super comfy things like ripped jeans and oversize knits. These ripped jeans are a particular favorite of mine, mostly because the rips were not caused by the over use of my knees against assault (in lamens terms I eat shit...alot), also because they are stretching and still suck everything in. Win win!

And then, of course, adding some accessories to make it look like I put some thought into it. Fooled you!

Any who, let's just be happy its the eve of Friday's eve.

Tied and Tailed...

While winter had be drowning in the bore of muted colors and over sized neck snuggies (some call them scarves).

 The flux in the warm weather has me fluttering with ideas of bright dresses, prints and patterns!

 There is always something so refreshing and invigorating about a newly approaching season.

Now, it’s not official, but when occasions like Graduations, Birthdays, and Parent appreciations rid you of your free time, you are well aware of the summer time escapades.

This look, pertaining specifically to Mother’s Day.

  Although, I’ve been told many times before by my Mother, “don’t worry about a gift, having you was a gift enough” I knew I wouldn’t be scoffed free if I took her up on that deal.

 So, to pay my mother back for all the years of her spectacular parenting, I took her to see ‘Dark Shadows’.  Yeah, we’ll call it even.  

  My boyfriend and his Mother joining, making it a very romantic double date.

With the warm weather, Delicious food, and highly entertaining movie our day was nothing short of spectacular.
