Raw hem

And so it goes...

I recently turned my boyfriend jeans into these pretty fantastic shorts. I found the boyfriend jeans to hug my hips in all the wrong way, but after cutting them they turned into the perfect fitting shorts.

As much as I'd love to wear those extremely short, high waist shorts, I simply cant. I like my shorts fitting a little longer, and a little looser. So after cutting my loose fitting crops in the some loose fitting shorts I was thoroughly pleased. 

And now, I feel a little more prepared to take on the summer

    This outfit is pure summer bliss. I'm still waiting for summer to arrive where I live, but at least I can live vicariously through other bloggers :) I especially love your headband, it's such a perfect touch. And I know just what you mean about boyfriend jeans, mine never seem to fit quite right when I put them on... Maybe making cut-offs is the answer! Yours turned out beautifully.

    Ohhh my goshhh this is an amazing outfit. i absolutely love everything about it, from that adorable flower headband to those perfect diy jeans. I know I say this literally all the time- but this is my favorite look so far

    The shorts are an awesome DIY, I really want to make some dip dyed ones but just think my jeans wont cut into the fit I want my shorts.

    I quite like idea to cuff cut-offs.

    I get the short-shorts thing. I loved the high waist shorts- and still do- but imagine my surprise the first time I sat down in my pair! VERY short. Oh my.
