Lucky FABB [DAY TWO]

And so it goes... my last day at Lucky FABB West.

I touched base on my whole Lucky FABB experience a bit in my last post, but I have so much more to talk about, including all the goodies I received (note: first picture). My sister and I looked like raging shopaholics with all of our bags…and talk about sore arms! I’ll consider that my work out for the year.

I've already sported a few of my favorite gifts, like theXen-Tan, and my Julie Vos necklace (seen here), but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Coachella Recap [DAY THREE]

 The day has come...my last Coachella post of the year. Sigh. You're probably relieved, but I'Msaddened. Looking back at these pictures just reminds me of what an incredible time Coachella was.

 It was a weekend full of amazing people and amazing music. 

I know what you're thinking...use a thesaurus for amazing, right?..but I can't. It's just the perfect word.

This last day in particular is one I'll never forget. It started at The Lumineers, and ended in a sand storm. 

OH.....how I'll miss thee.

But HEY, It's almost Friday!

Lucky FABB [DAY ONE]

Hiii Guys. Obviously, I'm digressing wtih my posts a bit. I still have one more day of Coachella to recap, buuut I couldn't wait any longer to post my looks from Lucky FABB. Which was amazing, by the way.

On day one, we were lucky enough to listen to speakers like Drew Barrymore, and the ever beautiful, and highly animated Betsey Johnson. 

We enjoyed cocktails while viewing a preview of Betsey Johnson's upcoming show, 'XOX. Betsey Johnson, On the style Network, which will premier on May 12th.

Followed with an official cocktail hour with Drew barrymore, where we enjoyed her branded wine, and tested out her new make up line, Flower. 

Such an amazing day, and it was only day one!

Coachella Recap [ DAY TWO]

EEK! That's how I feel right now. There are only mere hours until my presence gets to graze the warmth of a summer night. Technically it's a spring night, but it's Friday so who cares about technicalities.

It's especially exciting for those of you who are at round two of Coachella. OH what I would give to be back! I already have severe pangs of nostalgia looking through my pictures of that glorious weekend, and additionally being haunted by the posts of the current fest. 

This look was from day two. You can tell because I came prepared with a jacket. Thank goodness for hips and their jacket keeping ways!

It was a neutral look, packing some serious kicks: note: Leopard and yellow sandals and my heart eyes. In fact, these glasses were a serious hit, as I saw so many people wearing them, and complimented each one on their taste. Is that vain?

Moving on.

I also want to say that my heart goes out to all those affected by the Boston Tragedy.

I am wishing you all peace in these tough times.

Coachella Recap - [DAY ONE]

Boy OH boy! The first weekend of Coachella is officially over. I am saddened, yet slightly relieved, as my body couldn't stand the smoldering sun, to bone chilling nights much longer, and my brain is spent!

This look is from day one. It ended up being perfect, as I was able to remove the kimono when temps peeked, and then throw it back on when the sun began to set. 

The shows on day one were incredible: Alt-J, Local Natives, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Band of Horses, were a few of my faves!

The Red Shoes

 I have tentatively confessed once or twice that wearing bright colors and prints is not something I do with ease. I love color, and have many colorful sections in closet, yet my black and white pieces always seem to dominate the playing field (that is my wardrobe). 

One bright that I absolutely adore is red. I would even go so far as to conisder it a neutral, if you will. 

I find it goes with just about anything, and is always the perfect finishing touch, be it your lips, nails, or an accessory. 

Red red red all day long!

Have I convinced you how much I love red?

The point is, this look is a perfect example of using red as a basic.One might consider a matching purse and shoe in a fire hue is too much., and to that I reply "nonsense!". 

Oh!...side note. tomorrow is the first day of Coachella.

Style Challenge: Coachella Fashion

(Beware the wild Coachella animals!)

I know I've been Coachella crazed, but for good reasons. The Coachella Festival is where my two favorite things, music and fashion, align in a perfect union.

It's where you channel your inner flower child, and be one with the desert. 

(I'm usually one with the Heineken bar, but that's another story).

This weeks #StyleChallenge is perfect for those of you who are attending the festival but are a bit stumped. Three days takes A LOT of wardrobe planning!

SO my self and a great group of bloggers have put together some great Coachella looks for 

your last minute shopping needs.

My look is an easy breezy look. Flowy white dress, shoulder bag, and booties perfect for walking. 

I wanted to put emphasis on an easy hair style that pulls it back but it's still feminine and not sloppy.

I would consider this the perfect day three look!

Back Bay Boat Ride

Hi Guyyys!

This last weekend and week have been amazing. On Saturday my sisters and aunt got together for a surprise Duffy boat ride for my moms birthday

 If you haven't been on one, you should, it's so fun.

You rent a tiny little boat., pack it with people, drinks, and snack, and take a ride around the harbor. 

 It's also a really good excuse to pull off any nautical inspired fashion.

The days following were equally enjoyable.
