With an open back chiffon top, mile high wedges, and fuchsia lips, I make my way into weekend. 

One which will be filled with art, bbq's, shopping, and friends. OH! the joy of 3 day weekends!

Farmers Market

Hello Lovelies...

This weekend I wandered into the farmers market that is only a few miles from my place. (It only took 6 months to finally do this).

I found so many great deals on Veggies, Homemade crafts, some AMAZING goat cheese (my fave!), and flowers....oh flowers!

I left with a sweaty forhead and a few new goodies for my home and fridge (mostly fridge).

Another day at the beach....

 OK people, it's no secret that this look wasn't styled by Rachel Zoe, but it was the easiest and most publicly acceptable look I could put together in my morning haze. 

I mean, you're really no supposed  to over think a beach look anyway (although I'm not sure there has ever been a moment that I haven't over thought a look) but this wasn't just for the beach but rather a gathering of friends in celebration of one of said friend's birth.

Let's start with layer 1: bathing suit. I picked black. done

Layer 2: A cover up. I picked a bright dress. done 

Layer 3. Accessories. I threw on some jesus sandals, sunnies, a fitting red green and yellow bracelet, and a  shoulder bag (all in the easy shade of black). DONE!

There you have it. A genius at work some might say. I just say...another day at the beach.

Hello lovelies...

I'm starting off my week with a sore bum...TMI?

Well, before those minds of yours go off in all the wrong directions, I'll clarify.

This weekend I went down to visit the crazies in Venice Beach.

My self, my boyfriend and another couple rented bikes for the day (hence sore bum) and hit the bike paths of Santa Monica to Venice Beach. Along the way we stopped at a few pubs and cafes to cool off with some icy brews, enjoyed some free shows (including a very talented man in a speedo, roller blades, and some guitar hero equipment), and admired the art.

It was a perfect way to spend a scorching hot Saturday.

Hello Lovelies,

As if I havent talked your ear off enough about my recent trip to San Jose, I have one more post from that marvelous weekend.

As a firm believer in all things ghostly, we just HAD to visit the Winchester Mystery Mansion. 

If you don't know what that is GOOGLE it! And then visit it.

While there, we enjoyed a round of wine tastings (mostly for the free souvenir glass), took a tour of the 160 roomed house (equipped with stairs to no where, and doors to nothing), and explored the grounds. Thank jeebus I wore flats!

After a few hours, and few glasses of wine, there were no ghost sitings,but my sisters Brittney, Meghan, and I had a blast nonetheless!

It's Wednesday, which seems so far gone from the previous weekend...and even further from the next. 

I say that, because as I look as these pictures I'm reminded of one of my favorite  (and most recent) weekend.

 If you read the last post you'll know I'm referring to my trip to San Jose, filled with sisters, wine, and shopping. And if you didn't read my last post, I'm talking about my trip to....joking. You get it. 

This was my debut outfit to the night life of San Jose. Oh what a glorious little city...

Hello Lovelies,

I've been away for far too long, I know, but for good reason. My sisters and I spent one whole weekend together. 

It's not easy getting the three of us together, and even harder for an extended period of time. So, a three day trip was nothing short of a miracle. 

Brittney and I made the 6 hour trek to visit Meghan in her new place, in San Jose.

We started off the weekend exploring San Pedro Square, where we found the cutest wine bar called Vino Vino (that called for some serious creativity).

After a few drinks we made our way to an adorable vintage shop, Black & Brown, where I discovered my new favorite sunnies (stay tuned for the reveal tomorrow)
