So, clearly, Stanley has been my favorite accessory in recent days. I mean, he goes with everything I wear. 

I'm still taking it easy in the wardrobe department because my time is limited, and the most important thing in my life right now is teaching this boy how to bring his ball back. 

I will say, I've been shopping for more casual wear, and finding a lot of success. Buying basics is something I haven't always been good at. I always want to do trendy and "right now" pieces. When I do buy basics it's usually a black t-shirt, or rinse denim jeans. But lately I've been finding a happy medium between boring basics, and trendy pieces. This shirt, for example, is the perfect go to. It's pretty long when it's not tucked in, so I can totally rock it with some leggings and boots. It's light weight for summer, and perfect for layering in the winter. Totally a score!

The New Addition

Hey guyyys! If you follow me on Instagram than you already know by now that I got a new pup! 

 His name is Stanley (Sir Stanley), and he's the general reason for my slight absence here on & So It Goes. 

He's 12 weeks old, and a ball of pure muscle and skin, and he's the sweetest little thing. But any new pup requires a lot of attention, so I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I've been rocking a lot of flips flops and wet hair this past week.

Once he starts to get used to a schedule, I'll be back to full speed, and you might even see Stanley rocking some super sweet threads too.
